How Nexgard Chewable Works?
NexGard contains afoxolaner as its main ingredient. Afoxolaner for dogs kills fleas and ticks by over-stimulating their nervous systems. When you treat your dog with a NexGard chew, its active ingredient, afoxolaner, enters the bloodstream of the dog and fights fleas and ticks whenever they bite your dog.
It works fast and destroys 100% of fleas within 24 hours of administration. One NexGard chew provides full protection against fleas and ticks for 30 days.
NexGard Dosage for Dogs
NexGard chews are available in different color-coded packs, varying according to the weight of the dogs. Select the appropriate pack as per the weight of your dog. One NexGard chew should be dosed orally once a month at a minimum dosage of 1.14 mg/lb (2.5 mg/kg).
For Small Dogs:Give one chew of NexGard (Orange Pack) to extra small dogs weighing between 4-10 lbs each month. It contains 11mg of afoxolaner per chew.
For Medium Dogs:Medium dogs weighing between 10.1-24 lbs should be given one chew of NexGard (Blue Pack) each month. It contains 28mg of afoxolaner per chew.
For Large Dogs: Medium sized dogs weighing between 24.1-60 lbs should receive one chew of NexGard (Purple Pack) each month. It contains 68mg of afoxolaner per chew.
For Extra Large Dogs: Every month, give one NexGard (Red Pack) chew to large dogs weighing 60.1 to 121 lbs. It contains 136mg of afoxolaner per chew.
What You Should Know: The easy to administer oral chew is safe for all breeds of dogs. It is approved to be used in puppies 8 weeks of age or older. Pets with a history of seizure should only be treated after consulting a vet.Please consult your vet before buying this product.

Contraindication:
