Nexgard combo is one its kind anti-parasite treatment for cats. This spot-on treatment protects cats from extensive range of external parasites like fleas, ticks, and internal parasites like roundworms, tapeworms, heartworms, vesicle worms, lungworms, hook worms. The topical treatment is applied on the skin of cats mostly in the area between the head and neck so that they can’t lick the content.
This powerful topical treatment has three active ingredients i.e. Esafoxolaner, Eprinomectin, Praziquantel. These ingredients have proven the efficacy of 97.2% to 99.9% against ear mites and 100% efficacy against internal worms and fleas.
How Nexgard Combo Works?
Esafoxolaner works as ectoparasiticide that house on cats’ skin. Once the spot on treatment is applied on the skin, the ingredient will hinder parasites’ nerve cell system, eventually killing the parasite.
For fleas, treatment starts its effect within 24 hours of application, while termination of ticks takes effect within 48 hours. The Esafoxolaner ingredients in Nexgard Combo prevent household contamination by killing fleas before egg production. Nexgard Combo is also efficient for the treatment of flea allergy.
Eprinomection is effective for protection against heartworm and treats infections caused by such worms. Praziquantel affects the cell membranes of tapeworms and roundworms and kills the parasites.

Contradictions
- Do not apply on kitten less than eight week old or less than 0.8 kg in weight
- Avoid frequent repetition; the minimum repetition duration should be one month and not less.
