Advantage for Cats
Advantage for cats is a quick and effective monthly spot-on flea treatment for cats and kittens. It kills 98-100% of adult fleas within half a day of application. It also kills larval stages of fleas and prevents re-infestation by ending the flea life cycle. It kills and controls larvae found in the surroundings of the cat.
It is safe to use on kittens 8 weeks of age and older
How It Works?
Imidacloprid is the main ingredient present in advantage for cats. Imidacloprid is an insecticide which acts as an insect neurotoxin. It acts on the central nervous system of the fleas by interfering with the transmission of the stimuli in the insect nervous system. It causes blockage in the neuronal pathway resulting in the paralysis of fleas leading to an eventual death. This treatment is effective for an entire month and provides protection against flea infestation. Flea bites are stopped within 3-5 minutes of application of the product. This treatment is suitable for all breeds of cats.
Ingredients: Imidacloprid
- Make the cat stand in an erect position
- Part the fur of the pet and find a spot at the base of skull and behind the neck of the cat
- Open the tube and press it on the selected spot
- Squeeze the entire content on the spot properly
- The solution will spread of the cat’s body with their body movement
- Do not touch the spot, until it dries
- Eyes and mouth of the pet and yours should not touch the spot-on treatment
- The treated pet should not be allowed to groom with other pets till the solution dries out
- Wash your hands properly with soap and water after administering this spot-on treatment on felines
- Children should not be allowed to get near this product
- If there is irritation in the skin or eyes of the cat after treatment then take advice from your veterinarian
- Pile up this treatment at a place which is away from eatables and animal feeds
